Our Electroplated Diamond Dot Magnetic Discs are precision abrasive products that are perfect for all your grinding needs. These discs are made from a thin, solid sheet of springy metal with dots of diamond abrasive electroplated directly onto the base sheet. We use 100% diamonds electroplated onto the surface with nickel, creating a highly durable, rust-free disk.
The back of the disk features a rubberized magnetic coating, which allows for easy application to the metal wheel head of your grinder. This magnetic system makes changing from one grit to the next extremely easy, and our Diamond dots cannot pull up or fall off, preventing bare sections or cutting and gouging of the material.
The thin metal backing helps the abrasive lay flat and produces an even sharp facet or bevel when required, while preventing uncontrolled scratching of the finished surface around the area to be worked. Our Diamond Disk is only 1.7mm thick, making it easy to rectify the distortion of the disc and attach it flat to plates of the grinder.
